Air Jordan 1s will likely never tire in the realm of sneaker culture, and Jordan Brand is more than aware of that very fact, considering a release takes place essentially every month without fail. January saw to a few — some in Black Satin and a few of more bespoke treatment — while February had a wealth of standouts: the model’s 1985 re-run, a women’s “UNC to CHI,” and now a “Pine Green” done in a quite the familiar color blocking. Poised to close, the latter pair utilizes its signature shade at the outsole, toe box, swoosh, and much of the heel counter to ankle flap while the rest shapes with a neutral black leather. Wings insignia blacks out at its usual spots, tongue tabs brandish with red instead, and the textures of the aforementioned mixes with a half-half composition of smooth and tumbled finishes.
