The adidas NMD R1 Appears In A New Color-Blocking Scheme_Stroll and Speak Boldly

The adidas NMD R1 has become a modern-day casual favorite. Although new NMD releases don’t garner the same level of hype they did when the shoe was first introduced, the comfy Boost midsole, flexible mesh upper, and versatile style are still ideal for today’s hybrid lifestyle/performance market. Now, the popular sneaker has surfaced in two brand-new ladies-only colorways complete with interesting new color blocking: a burgundy/green and a grey/pink. Each shoe adds bold rectangular shapes that surround the NMD’s key embellishments — like the plastic heel piece and rear midsole brick — while relying upon an otherwise tonal upper to let the new accents receive as much attention as possible. Another new detail then arrives via factory code-style text on the front midsole brick, and the shoe is rounded off by its signature full-length Boost midsole.
