Next to the Air Jordan 1 and even the Air Jordan 3, it’s painfully obvious how little attention the Air Jordan 9 receives. But after a few colorways earlier in the year, the brand is finally expanding the silhouette’s Holiday 2020 output with a simple though clean “University Blue” colorway.

Versatile as is a lot of the Jumpman’s upcoming, the pair takes a typical template and applies colorful accents only in seldom. While the famed UNC tone takes the title, it’s only seen at very few points: the Jumpman emblem at the sole, the “Air Jordan” text embroidered atop the tongue, and the branded accents paired up along the heel counter Elsewhere, a speckled black dresses the majority of the construction, its paneling placed parallel to a much darker midsole and upper replete of white leather that imprint a signature diamond texture along the profile.
